Four Year Planner
Springfield High School Four Year Planner

The four year plan is designed to help you decide about your courses for four years, making sure your schedule will meet both graduation requirements and your personal goals. Print out this page and use it each year to make sure you are on track.

Please note the graduation requirements listed in the table below. You should review what you have accomplished each year and record the courses which you have successfully completed. Then, plan ahead and write down the courses you are going to take in your remaining years in high school. Students should look at each department's statements in the Course of Studies booklet and also meet with their counselor regarding their plan.
Graduation Requirements

Twenty-five (25) credits are required for graduation and the following requirements must be met:

Setting Goals

What do you want to be ready to do when you get out of high school? Some students take advantage of the programs at the River Valley Technical Center to gain skills in a particular occupational area. Others want to go to college. Some students do both. As you plan your courses, you need to take into consideration where you are headed. We suggest the following as a basic college preparatory program :

For example, all first year students are required to take math, but not everyone takes the same math class. Write in the course that is appropriate for you.
